Filmscoring:

The art of filmscoring is basically the art of making music that supports the general emotions and moods in the film. When You compose original music - often directly to the pictures of the movie itself - it is not enough (but definately a must) to be a skilled composer: You have to use all Your dramaturgical and psychological talents to get into the film and the directors vision of it, and when it is right You feel like you are dragging the music out of the pictures itself.
